EcoEvac ™ 2sets Dust extraction port for Blum Ecodrill for Ø35 vacuum

Two-piece adapter (2 sets) that solves the issue of missing chip extraction in Blum's Ecodrill.

Simply drill a hole with a diameter ranging from Ø35 to a maximum of about Ø42 using the Ecodrill.

The designed shape of the adapter offers flexibility in terms of the required hole size. However, the hole should not be smaller than Ø35, as the adapter won't fit otherwise.

I recommend drilling from the left side - this way, the chips will be better extracted.

For boards generating large chips, such as MDF/plywood, it is advisable to drill slowly and gradually to effectively remove the chips:

 The adapter is compatible with nozzles from Starmix, Metabo, Bosch, Festool Cleantec, etc., which have an outer diameter of Ø35 as the standard.

For making the hole in the casting, a standard metal hole saw equipped with a centering drill can be used.

The exact inner diameters of the vacuum connection hole are visible in the cross-section (the hole tapers conically). The standard size, referred to as 35w, is generally universal and typically suits Festool/Starmix/Metabo/Bosch, etc. If a different size is required, we can customize it, but please contact us in advance, as this can always be tailored to specific requirements.

The adapter comes with threads. The direction of tightening is indicated by arrows pointing towards each other.

The nut should lock in a position that prevents unintentional loosening.

By using the extraction, the lifespan of hollow milling cutters is significantly extended because all the chips are immediately extracted, preventing clogging and overheating.
