EcoEvac ™ 2.0 Dust extraction port for Blum Ecodrill for vacuum cleaner Ø35

Two-piece adapter that solves the problem of missing chip extraction in Blum's Ecodrill.

You just need to drill a hole with a diameter from Ø35 to a maximum of about Ø42.

The designed shape of the adapter provides some flexibility in the required hole size. However, the hole should not be smaller than Ø35, as the adapter won't fit otherwise.

I recommend drilling from the left side - this way, the chips will be better evacuated.

For boards generating large chips, such as MDF/plywood, it is advisable to drill slowly and gradually - this way, the chips will be evacuated effectively:

 The adapter is designed for vacuum cleaner nozzles of Starmix, Metabo, Bosch, Festool Cleantec, etc., which have an outer diameter of Ø35 as a standard.

To create the hole in the casting, a regular metal hole saw with a centering drill can be used.

The internal diameter of the vacuum connection hole tapers conically - it starts at around 36.2 and ends at 35.5. The standard size, called 35w, is relatively universal, typically for Festool/Starmix/Metabo/Bosch, etc. If a different size is required, we can customize it as needed, but please contact us in advance as this can always be tailored to specific requirements.

A universal reduction available in our other offers can also be used.

The adapter is equipped with threads. The direction of rotation is indicated by arrows pointing towards each other.

The nut should be locked in a position that prevents unintended loosening.

The reinforced structure of the outer part makes installation easier.

By using extraction, you significantly extend the lifespan of box cutters because all chips are immediately extracted, preventing clogs and overheating.
